Hi,

no i dont think the different language is causing your memory
utilization reach 99%. By the way: Do not make exports using a
different NLS_LANG than your database does. The results are
unpredictable.

Some notes from the trace:

Well, you seem to run a pretty old database version. If your
application is quite simple (i.e. tables and indexes, not much
pl/sql code) you should consider upgrading to 10.1.0.5.0 or
10.2.0.2.0.

The kernel version is unknown to me. When installing SLES9 + Service
Packe 3 the kernel version is 2.6.5-7.244-smp. Have you compiled the
kernel yourself ?
