Hi Robert, by "We would like to use the SUN V880 servers for DR", do you
mean you want to setup Oracle DataGuard (ODG between the primary HP
Proliant DL380 (x86 or x86_64), and the standby Sun V880 (SPARC)?
I don't believe Oracle will support ODG this way, as you have to have
the same Oracle binary at all sites for DataGuard - see section 2.3.1

Now, can we interest you in another DL380 for the DR site? Kidding!
