I just had internal discussion, SuSe vs Redhat (or Oracle Linux), again,
after trying Oracle Linux 4.4 (aka RedHat 4.4) again. In most cases, RedHat
is far behind SuSe in features, usability and so on - but if SuSe don't work
(as we have with async io), then it make any comparasion useless and we have
not any chance except toing to RHEL or Oracle. SuSe have smaller
installation base for now, and it makes prompt bug fixing and good QA
testing (with Beta Testing, btw) aextremely important.

And it is a minor bug, from technical point of view. All they need is 1 week
of work of any good kernel developer (may be, few hours), and it wil be
fixed. It is not something extra special.

Novell show new OCFSv2 + EVMS + Heartbeat2 cluster on the last exhibition in
San Francisco; it can be a very important thing (if they make it all working
in the lab, ander a heavy load, with different SAN networks including iSCSI
and FCP) - where are results?; where is preconfigured system, where are
recommendation?
One more busines oportunity will be lost, as I can see.

I strongly support you Alexei on this one. This is not very business
like and I believe Novell Officials should make some strong commitment
here other wise they will loose us . Loud and Clear.

This is a critical bug - why it takes so long to fix it?

Novell is not primary Linux in Oracle (it is not tested with it
automatically by internal users, as they do with RHEL4.4), so it makes
a very important to fix such problems ASAP when they arise!)
