Hi,

Just now, that I'm seeing the ligth at the end of tunnel (See thread "ASM and Multipath"), I install last SLES10 patches with YOU and I found these patches make one node freeze when mount ocfs2 file system. And then Alexei writes: " SLES10 is not ready for production yet! (no matter what Novell is posted, it IS NOT READY! Numerous errors, such as broken OCFSv2 in last updates...". Very funny, too much time wasted!

- Is there a newer patch to correct this ocfs2 problem?
- Must I downgrade to SLES9?
- Will I find same problem with ocfs2 in SLES9?
- Is Suse SLES really a future's alternative with oracle?

This summer, when I tried to configure a virtual two nodes RAC with Vmware, I found that OCFS2 freezes nodes with SLES10 and with SLES9 too. I supposed the problem was vmware, so now I go to real servers, but if patches are breaking SLES/ocfs2 ... perhaps is RH4 the solution?
