I am not Creec character, I just read both, SLES10 and OCFS, mail list and
know, that last updates broke OCFSv2 and that NFS did not worked on original
version and that SLES10 is not Oracle certified for most Oracles and that
SLES10 had a mizeraable installation base on Oracle and that most vendors
did not release their software pr drivers on SLES10 yet... IN addition, I
run Linux lab and test some things myself.
You can make conclusion yourself. For me, it is OpenBeta until service pack
1; those who are unhappy to run production on it, can decide themself.
SLES10 have one strong side - common codebase with SLED10 (having a great
installation base), so non server's specific things are well tested, but
server specific things should be treated as a beta until the first service
pack.
So, I am just realistic. OCFSv2, iSCSI, multipath, async io, evms - all
should be treated as _unknown quality on SLES10_ until at least SP1.
