I am having a problem installing Oracle Application Server 10g (10.1.3)
on SuSE Enterprise server running on an s390x mainframe (64-bit).
I pass all the installer checks: swap space, temp space, memory, video,
and all recommended packages (i.e compat). I do not have orarun
installed as I did not see an s390x arch rpm available from novell.
After passing all the checks I then receive the following error message:

libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 is installed in the system and lives
in /usr/lib64 and it is a symlink to /usr/lib64/libstdc
++-3-libc6.2-2-2.10.0.so. I have created a symlink to this file
in /lib, /lib64, and /usr/lib; each time I run the installer I get the
exact same error.
Any help would be appreciated.
