Use
slogin -X user@(protected)
and/or
sux , not su, command
Try 'xterm' to check, if you still have X11 access/
You must start from terminal with correct DISPLAY , of course (such as
cygwin startx window, or VNC -> graphical console window).
Don't configure DISPLAY manually, it is technique frpom the last millenium.

Hi All All,
I am trying to install Oracle 9i on Remote server ( Via VPN access) gives
me error that DISPLAY has not been set. I had installed X-Config on my PC
and set the DISPLAY correctly, still am getting the same error.
Any help would be appreciated highly....
