Re: [suse-oracle] RAC - archived logs on NFS

Replies:

Its is possible to take the backup of the archived log files which are
running on RAC.
1. Mount the backup disk on both the nodes.
2. When you allocate a channel there is parameter connect
<userid/passwd>@(protected)>
allocate channel <> type disk connect <userid/passwd@(protected)>
allocate channel <> type disk connect <userid/passwd@(protected)>
For the above userid should be sys and hence you need to generate a passwd
file for the same.

Thank,
Jiger
