Replies:

SLES9 SP3 is better _just now_ (have less issues, is much better documented
and tested). I am not sure if SLES10 have sugnificant ## of Oracle
installations now.
But iit all depends - for example, one of SLES9 in my lab don't work with
multipath correctly (dies) - and it's a chance that SLES10 work well (I did
not tested it on these configuration).

On the other hand, starting with SLES9, you can end up in need to upgrade
in a 3 - 5 years.


PS. We will use SLES9 _only_ for at least 1 year from now, then select next
platform (between SLES10 and possible competitors).
