Thanks for your help, but it did not help !

I installed the same openmotif Version before (2006-08-23)!
This was on my last machine and now it is a new setup with
openSuSE 10.2 - last version was a version once installed
with SuSE 7 or SuSE 8 and upgrated to 10.0. Everything was
working fine till Forms and Reports 6i.

LD_ASSUME_KERNEL is not set.

I receive the same error messages on compilation with rwbuilder.
I am starting my machine with logining in as a normal user.
Only with "sux - oracle" (under KDE) I can start xterms
under oracle - I know there is also a problem! There is a
conf-file, where I have to remove a parameter - two years
ago I keow the file and the parameter ... only beside for
your information.

What Information I can send you more that you can check
my installation.

This machine is my "desktop". Therefore I do not want to
reinstall the machine. I am using ORACLE on AIX/HP-Systems
at customer sites till version DB (V 8.06), Forms (6i) only.
If have books over and over, but since zwo months I have a
problem on my openSuse10.2.

Now I want to have it at Linux and want to learn from 6i
to 10g. But I can't install it ?

Thanks for your help, Harald

Thanks, Harald
