If you already have hit ratio near 100% you could use
even 4-times more RAM/buffer cache but hit ratio
will be near the same (it couldn't be more then 100%).
But you will loose in latch contention and performance
will degrade... That's only example.

Agreed with Alexey - you should perform extended
Capacity Planing to know what you'll get exactly.
