Subject: REP-50159 error when printing

Hi all,

We have an Oracle 10gr2 midtier instance running on SLES 9 and when we
attempt to print to any network printer, we get the following error:

"Executed successfully but there were some errors when distribute the
output REP-50159 (See http://REP-50159.ora-code.com): Executed successfully but there were some errors when
distribute the output"

I did not install the instance and the permissions for everything except
what the root.sh script modifies are as follows, recursively for the
ORACLE_HOME:

  drwx-- ---  1 oracle oinstall

I did modify the permissions, as suggested in the Oracle documentation,
to give users operating level read permissions to the ppd files and the
uiprint.txt file.  The printers work fine printing test pages or from
other apps.  Previously, printing to network printers from an Oracle
10gr1 instance had been working fine running on SLES 8.  The permissions
on that ORACLE_HOME were:
    drwxr-xr-x  1 oracle users
(yeah, I know, but I didn't install that one, either)

Is this issue related to file system permissions of ORACLE_HOME or is it
related to the security changes in cups between version 8 and version 9
of SLES?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Dennis
