Back If anyone can help with this error I'd greatly appreciate it. Here is my version of Enterprise Linux:
Linux oracle1 2.6.18-8.1.8.el5 #1 SMP Mon Jun 25 17:06:07 EDT 2007 x86_64 x86 _64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Here are the packages installed for OCFS2: [root@(protected) /]# rpm -qa |grep ocfs ocfs2-2.6.18-8.1.1.el5-1.2.6-6.el5 ocfs2-tools-1 (See http://ols-1.ora-code.com).2.6-1.el5 ocfs2console-1 (See http://ole-1.ora-code.com).2.6-1.el5
So I have tried to run ocfs2console and get the following error: Could not start cluster stack. This must be resolved before any OCFS2 filesystem can be mounted.
tail /var/log/messages, I get Sep 5 19:34:10 localhost modprobe: FATAL: Module ocfs2_nodemanager not found.
I tried running /etc/init.d/o2cb enable Writing O2CB configuration: OK Loading module "ocfs2_nodemanager": Unable to load module "ocfs2_nodemanager" Failed
Then tried: Load O2CB driver on boot (y/n) [y]: y Cluster to start on boot (Enter "none" to clear) [ocfs2]: Specify heartbeat dead threshold (>=7) [31]: Writing O2CB configuration: OK Loading module "ocfs2_nodemanager": Unable to load module "ocfs2_nodemanager" Failed
THe installation instruction does say in RED System ->administration-> security level and firewall. Set SELINUX to DISABLED. So I did disable this and rebooted. This did not help me.
Any ideas?
Many Thanks.
