Subject: Re: SLES9 SP3 - kernel bug aio:880 - any idea,what is it about? 2007-10-04 - By Alexei_Roudnev
Back I can test a patch , I have a bug on staging servers.
How to reproduce:
- install SLES9 SP3 + you updates, - instal Oracle 10.2.0.3 - set up LVM over iSCSI (may be not impoirtant, I dont know) - create DB - configure filesystem_options ASYNC (not SETALL), and # writers - 4 - run Hammerora for 20 warehouses 20 agents 100 passes
System fail with 90% probability.

This bug aio:880 appears to be a variation of aio:733 (bz#165140). Detailed error message will be useful to establish correlation.
Test patch for bz#165140 (post .286) is available at http://beta.suse.com/private/ptesarik/bug-165140 (See http://bug-165140.ora-code.com)/.
Let me know what other flavors are needed, I will see if suse ptf team can provide update there.
